A couple's great escape
The place was immaculate and the breakfast was quite a feast with freshly cooked options. The staff went above and beyond, making sure our stay was as comfortable as could be, like we were family.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what you get, it's quite reasonable.

The blend of modern décor with subtle hints of naval history made the hotel feel quite luxurious. The common areas were not only beautiful but very accessible, which was a delight for someone like me.
More comfortable seating options in common areas.

Friendly and accommodating staff.
I was disappointed by my stay in the cramped Deluxe Double Room. The shower gel dispensers didn't work, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. the fire alarm going off at 5:47 am was a jarring experience that overshadowed anything positive about the visit.

The room looked lovely with beautiful decor, but it had some practical issues. We had a door that led straight outside, which had a gap at the bottom, making it super cold at night. The quilt was too small, which didn't help with staying warm. I complained and got a staff radiator for the second night, which was better. the bathroom window was frosted but made me feel exposed at night. Wi-Fi was spotty too, but the breakfast was delicious!

Superb location, just a hop to the city centre! The room was clean and stylish, perfect for a quick getaway.
The room was so tiny I thought it was a cupboard! And who needs dim lighting when you're dreaming of being at a spa?

We had a lovely time at this cosy hotel with a spacious double room and a big, comfy bed. There’s a nice lounge area for relaxing. A beautiful garden to unwind in. Our only hiccup was that the shower pressure could've been a bit better, but it didn't ruin our stay at all. 😊

Nice spot, comfy stay
I had a pretty good time here. The family room was spacious with comfy beds. They even had gluten-free options for breakfast, which I really appreciated. The shower pressure was a bit weak for my hair, though. The bar area was chill, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The location was also super convenient, near The Hoe and the Barbican.
